End of Year Updates
Warning! This update is chock full of information. If you are making dinner, waiting in line at the grocery story, or surrounded by the howls of tiny people, please come back to this post later when you can fully pay attention to its contents.

Programs
The Catholic Family Adventure Club is now rounding the corner on its inaugural year as we enter into our summer calendar of programs. All of our summer events have been posted, and we encourage you to RSVP now for all of the programs that you and your family will be attending this summer.
A few changes that you need to be made aware of regarding programs requiring payment. If a program requires a fee for participation (e.g. planetarium, tween and teen event, etc), the registration will close prior to the program. If you are registered for an event after it closes but fail to attend, you will still be held responsible for payment of the fee. Please be mindful of the closing date on the registration so you don't find yourself having to pay for an event you do not attend.

Membership
We currently have 20 families registered as members with several others actively engaged in discerning whether participation in our group will be a good fit for them from a variety of parishes throughout the Tyler area.
Many of our new or interested families will be joining us throughout the summer at our many events. Please make sure to introduce yourself and your family to anyone attending an event as part of our mission to build a community of "Faithful Fun for All."
We will be holding information sessions throughout the month of July to share information about our group with others. We encourage you to share these dates with your friends and family who might also be interested in joining us.
New Member Information Sessions
Registration Renewal
Your membership will be expiring on July 31st, 2023.
To maintain membership in CFAC for the August 1, 2023-July 31, 2024 program year, you will be required to renew your membership by August 1st. We are currently in the process of setting up the renewal systems and hope to have that system available to you by July 1st. Please stay tuned for more information.
Volunteer Opportunities
Our group is growing at an exponential rate and we need your help.
Our community's success is dependent on everyone's willingness to do something. We are all in different seasons and there is an understanding that everyone's contributions will look different, but there is also an understanding that everyone needs to do something, which we all agreed to when we signed the code of conduct.
If you have not yet volunteered, the Leadership Team asks that you prayerfully consider whether you can fill in the following gaps. Please email generalinfo@catholicfamilyadventureclub.com for more information.
Assist Membership Coordinator (call new members and help with administrative tasks)
Help host a Tween and Teen event
Assist Communications Coordinator (take photos and write blog updates)
Attend a New Member Information Session and help answer questions as a member family

June 10th
Used Book Sale
This event is open to all homeschooling families who want to either sell or buy books and other educational materials. Registration is required for anyone who wishes to participate as a seller.

2023-2024 Programming Calendar
The Leadership team is actively planning a variety of field trips, programs, and other events, and this year we will be partnering with several parishes throughout the area to host our ever expanding list of events and programs.

Homeschooling Blessing Mass and Potluck
This event is sponsored by Catholic Family Adventure Club as a gift to all homeschooling families as they begin the 2023-2024 school year.
